Dr. Terrell
Dr Terrell grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies at Davidson College where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She returned to the University of Florida to study and receive her DVM with honors in 1993.
Dr. Terrell has practiced in Tennessee and Texas, but found North Carolina most like home. She lives in Cary with her husband, Matt, who is a fundraiser for UNC Rams Club and daughters, Kaylee and Reagan, three cats, and two dogs. She joined the Carpenter Animal Hospital team in February of 2016. Her special interests include feline and internal medicine, preventative medicine, nutrition, behavior and pain management.
Dr. Terrell is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Feline Practitioners, American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior, and International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.
She enjoys time with family, trips to the beach and mountains, hiking, volleyball, and coffee or wine with friends!
